This mixed media assemblage shrine is made with a base of one half inch foam core, covered in handmade turquoise colored paper and sealed in a non toxic varnish. The focal is an image of the Virgin and Jesus on a domed shape metal can with cut edges embellished with painted flower stamps and framed in vintage trim, and silver doily. 4 glass disks with floral and religious images are recessed into bottle caps. A small drawer opens to reveal a fortune to live a simple life. Embellished with vintage trim and brown stars on the borders. Vintage jewelry finishes the decoration. 6x11 by two inches deep. One of a kind original.
