Gayle Faucette Wisbon | A Glimpse of Pecos

Painting
Acrylics on gallery wrap stretched canvas | 2020

Inside the walls of the church ruins at Pecos National Historical Park is a small doorway. It leads out to a small walled area where the views are so beautiful. The walls were built in 1717 and it's amazing how large the original church was.

This is a larger version of the painting I did for the 2020 Twitter Art Exhibit. This is painted on gallery wrap canvas and measures 12 x 9 x 1.5 inches. The edges are painted a solid color, using the same colors from the painting. I'm working on five other paintings inspired by Pecos. Shipping is free to the continental U.S. Contact me for shipping information to all other destinations.
